About Cigar Price Watch
A price-comparison tool built around the real cost per cigar.
Our goal is to make pack sizes, retailer pricing and historical price movement easier to compare without pretending that every listing is directly equivalent.
What we do
Cigar Price Watch collects publicly available retailer pricing and availability, matches retailer listings to a canonical cigar catalog and normalizes eligible packs to a price-per-cigar basis. That makes a single, five-pack and box easier to compare on the same page.
We do not manufacture, sell, ship or fulfill tobacco products. When a visitor follows a retailer link, the retailer—not Cigar Price Watch—is responsible for the transaction, age verification, taxes, shipping eligibility, inventory and customer service.
Why the site exists
Cigar pricing is unusually difficult to compare because stores use different pack descriptions, sale formats and merchandising conventions. A box can look cheaper in total while being more expensive per cigar; a deeply discounted MSRP can still be worse than another retailer's everyday price. We built the site around normalized data rather than crossed-out marketing numbers.
Independence and commercial relationships
Retailers do not pay to receive a better price ranking. Where affiliate relationships exist, they are disclosed and do not change the underlying normalization formula. Our price ordering is intended to reflect the data available to us, not commission size.

Data quality
Retailer websites change constantly. We use automated ingestion plus matching rules, but no automated system is perfect. A pack description can change, an item can go out of stock between refreshes, or a retailer can display a location-specific price. We show timestamps and maintain price history so users can judge freshness.
If a listing appears mismatched, we prefer correcting the underlying catalog mapping rather than hiding the problem with a manual price override. Our Methodology explains how offers are normalized and ranked.
Cigar Price Watch is intended for adults age 21 and older in the United States. The site provides price information and educational content; it does not sell tobacco products.
